REDD in the Amazon states: mapping initiatives and challenges for integration with the Brazilian strategy (Portuguese)

The report was built in 2010 by working group of researchers from IPAM, IMAZON, IPEA and other organizations. 

Panel "Climate change and forests: the role of policies and positive incentives," sponsored by the Ministry of Environment (MMA) and Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA) on June 16 at Rio +20, discussed financial mechanisms aimed to implement a National Strategy for REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation). 
 
During the event, was presented the report "REDD in the Amazon states: mapping initiatives and challenges for integration with the Brazilian strategy" , built from the debate promoted in 2010 with the Working Group consisting of experts (researchers IPAM, IMAZON , IPEA, among other organizations) on financial mechanisms aimed at the implementation of a National Strategy on REDD +.
