Selene Castillo

Selene is the Research Assistant for the Forest Trade and Finance program at Forest Trends, providing programmatic support mainly to the REDD+ Expenditures Tracking project. She has also worked with Forest Trends’ Ecosystem Marketplace Carbon program, focusing on forest carbon markets across the globe. She contributed to 2012 State of the Forest Carbon Markets report and managed the organization’s sister site, the Forest Carbon Portal. She holds a Bachelors’ of Art degree in Biology and obtained her Masters’ degree in Environmental Management from Duke University.
