Ingvild Oia

Ingvild is a political scientist who has worked on governance and statistical analysis in relation to HIV/AIDS, food security, gender and orphans and vulnerable children. Before joining Oslo Governance Centre, Ingvild worked as an international consultant conducting baseline studies, evaluations and operational research in various countries in Africa, for organizations that include UNAIDS Technical Support Facility and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. For 18 months Ingvild conducted research and developed policy for the United Nations Commission on HIV/AIDS and Governance in Africa. Ingvild holds an M.Phil in International Studies from the University of Cambridge, UK, and an MSc in Comparative Politics from London School of Economics, both with high Merit.
