In Las Camelias: Peasants driving agroforestry since 1995 in over 1,500 hectares of forest

The 26 members of this group agro-including 6 women, feel very proud and satisfied with their work in the development, protection and sustainable management of the 1.535 hectares of broadleaf forest, located in Las Camelias and influence in the communities of fruit and Saladin, in the municipality of San Francisco, Department of Atlantis.

This was demonstrated by a group of journalists and media workers in Central America and the Dominican Republic who recently visited and shared with them, from a walk by these forests to a delicious cold coconut water.
