Dilma defines strategy on the Forest Code

Since yesterday, President Rousseff has been conducting a series of meetings at the Presidential Palace to discuss the final report of the interim measure of the Forest Code. The government failed to agree with ruralistas in the House, but reading the report is scheduled for this Tuesday at 14.30 in the Senate.
 

This morning the President meets with ministers Gleisi Hoffmann (Civil), Izabella Teixeira (Environment), Mendes Ribeiro (Agriculture) and Pepe Vargas (Land Development), Senators Jorge Viana (PT-AC), Vice President the Joint Committee and the rapporteur of the committee MP, Luiz Henrique da Silveira (PMDB-SC), and the deputies Bohn Gass (PT / RS), the committee chairman, Edinho Araújo (PMDB-SP), rapporteur of the statutory text.
