Climate crisis and programmatic forest destruction

Paradoxically, talk about "climate change" falls into the trap of those who have caused it: it invites thoughts of gradual change, natural and against which there is no choice but to try to "adapt" or "mitigate" the effects. "We prefer to talk about climate crisis, caused by a model of society that has decided to 'burn' the planet to enjoy some bit of a lifestyle that also perversely have been called "developed," says the editorial "Crisis climática, falsos remedios y soluciones verdaderas," a compendium published by the journal Biodiversidad, sustento y culturas, with the Movimiento Mundial de los Bosques Tropicales and Amigos de la Tierra América Latina y el Caribe.
