Business Green China will introduce domestic carbon trading during the next five years, the China Daily said today, quoting reports from private government meetings.
Officials have reached consensus on the need for carbon trading as the only way for China to meet its 2020 energy intensity targets. But there is still no agreement on the mechanism that should be used.
