The Foundation and the cooperative Agreste Cesefor launching a carbon footprint certificate, for companies and events, so as to achieve a carbon neutral activity.

Through the new huellacero system, the calculations are made following the GHG Protocol methodology, accepted by the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). It also presents a personalized analysis of emissions and suggests best practices to reduce emissions in the future. Finally, the fundamental differentiating step for huellacero is the compensation of emissions in forestry projects, so that in addition to offsetting emissions, huellacero promotes the development of forests in Spain.

La Fundación Cesefor y la cooperativa Agresta lanzan al mercado un certificado de huella de carbono, destinado a empresas y eventos, de manera que se consiga una actividad neutra en carbono.

A través del nuevo sistema huellacero, se realizan los cálculos de emisiones siguiendo la metodología GHG Protocol, aceptada por el IPCC (Panel Intergubernamental sobre Cambio Climático). Además, se realiza un análisis personalizado de las emisiones y se proponen buenas prácticas para reducir las emisiones en el futuro. Por último, el paso fundamental y diferenciador de huellacero es la compensación de las emisiones en proyectos forestales, de manera que además de compensar las emisiones, se favorece el desarrollo de bosques en España.
