BVRio and the Secretariat of Environment of the Amazon have signed a Cooperation Agreement

The Department of the Environment and the Amazon BVRio (stock market environment of Rio de Janeiro), last week signed a cooperation agreement to promote environmental asset markets. The agreement provides for the development of tools to facilitate the implementation of CAR (Rural Environmental Registry) and the development of legal reserve credits to be traded in BVRio. 

The agreement was signed by Nadia Ferreira, Minister of Environment of the Amazon, and Pedro Moura Costa, President of BVRio. Also present were the Undersecretary of Environment in May in Rio de Janeiro, Luiz Firmino, Planning and Secretary of Amazonas, Airton Angelo Claudino. The event took place at the beginning of a conference organized by BVRio on the market for credit Legal Reserve.
